Winner of the anotHERVIEWture Award 2024

The winners of the different categories and their
projects are presented below.

Female Architect of the Year

Category I

statement of the jury | The three projects - a new church building, a conversion and redensification by a kindergarten and an exhibition design - show a work of great variety and strength in different scales and building tasks. The jury was impressed by the natural integration into the context and the careful treatment of the existing building. The clear and significant design on the outside creates a surprisingly spatial quality and complexity on the inside, enhanced by the clever use of light and materials.

The architecture on show is therefore timeless in the best sense of the word and has a lasting effect.

Volksgartenstraße 6 | 8020 Graz

statement of the jury | Her projects are deeply focused on the relationship between place and scale. The buildings adapt harmoniously to their surroundings, introducing new and intriguing spatial dynamics.

Her work demonstrates a strong sense of social responsibility, with a focus on the needs of people in various settings, such as schools and hospitals. The following candidates were shortlisted by the jury:

Rafaela Rothwangl, Rettenegg, AT
