*1955 in Salzburg, studied architecture in Graz, university assistant at TU Graz, 4 years of living and working in Costa Rica, Central America.
1989 : Foundation of the own architectural office KARIN PROYER in Steyr, Austria
Since 1997 joint office PROYER & PROYER ARCHITEKTEN with her husband architect Herman Proyer. Work for a wide range of planning for buildings with special demands on design and sustainability. Public buildings from kindergarten to retirement home, residential construction, sacred buildings and much more.
Karin Proyer also works as a juror for competitions, member of design advisory boards, consultant for communities, lecturer and trained coach for difficult situations in (working) everyday life.
