ABOUT
Li Mei Tsien is a Civil Engineer Architect and Urban Designer based in Brussels. She combines professional practice, academic engagement and international representation activities.
As co-founder of B612architectes, her work explores the relationship between architectural quality, sustainability, public procurement and the evolving role of architects in contemporary society. Through public projects, housing, urban transformation and adaptive reuse, she is particularly interested in how ambitious environmental and social objectives can be translated into meaningful and implementable architectural solutions.
Her experience bridges practice, education, advocacy and international collaboration through teaching, lectures, juries, exhibitions and professional organisations. Her work has been widely published and exhibited internationally, including at the Shenzhen Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture, BOZAR – Centre for Fine Arts Brussels, and the UIA World Congress of Architects in Barcelona.
