Architecture begins with understanding.
Arch. DI Karin Köberl founded see.atelier in Altaussee in 2017. She develops architecture in dialogue with place, history and the people.
Her work focuses on the transformation and continuation of existing buildings as well as contemporary residential architecture. Every project begins with understanding – the place, its building culture, the existing fabric and the people who will live there.
Her projects are not connected by a common formal language, but by a shared attitude. Each design develops its own response to its place and purpose. Together with clients and regional craftspeople, personal living environments emerge that feel completely natural. This is how architecture is created that is not only seen, but felt.
