Kristina Radelić, M.Arch., Chartered Architect
Kristina Radelić graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, in 2003 and has been a Chartered Architect since 2008, registered with the Croatian Chamber of Architects under registration number A3364. She has passed the professional state examination required for architectural practice and holds an authorization issued by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia for the preparation of conceptual, main and detailed design documentation for interventions on immovable cultural heritage.
Since 2013, she has served as Managing Director and Lead Architect of STO POSTO PRIRODNO Ltd., an architectural practice specializing in architectural design, visitor and interpretation centres, the conservation and presentation of cultural and natural heritage, and the development of design documentation for complex public and infrastructure projects.
With more than twenty years of professional experience, she has successfully led and coordinated multidisciplinary design teams and managed the preparation of conceptual, main and detailed architectural designs. Her professional expertise focuses on visitor and interpretation centres, museums and exhibition spaces, public buildings, projects within protected cultural heritage sites, and developments financed through European Union funding programmes.
As Lead Architect, she has directed the design of numerous landmark projects, including the Barać Caves Visitor Centre, Lastovo Archipelago Nature Park Visitor Centre, Sošice Visitor Centre, Paklenica National Park Visitor Centre, Cetin Visitor Centre, Natura 2000 Interpretation Centre of the Imotski Region, Krbava Battle Interpretation Centre, Lasinja Culture Interpretation Centre, the reconstruction of the Sisak City Museum, and the Kašina Kindergarten. She also served as Lead Architect on the Biokovo Nature Park Visitor Centre, the Tikveš Presentation and Education Centre, the Podprag Visitor Centre, as well as numerous other public, cultural and tourism infrastructure projects.
Her work integrates architecture, spatial design, museum interpretation, exhibition and product design, and interior architecture to create functional, contemporary and sustainable environments that communicate the values of natural and cultural heritage while enhancing the visitor experience. She places particular emphasis on preserving the identity of place, delivering sustainable architectural solutions, and applying an interdisciplinary approach throughout the design process.
She collaborates continuously with public institutions responsible for protected natural areas, local and regional authorities, the Ministry of Culture and Media, and other public clients in the preparation and implementation of complex development projects.
Today, Kristina Radelić is recognised as one of Croatia's leading architects specializing in the design of visitor and interpretation centres and in projects dedicated to the preservation, presentation and interpretation of cultural and natural heritage. Her professional work is distinguished by innovation, responsibility, high-quality design and the successful integration of architecture, heritage and the contemporary needs of society.
