Ulrike Tinnacher ist Architektin in Graz und Wien. Sie studierte Architektur an der TU Graz und der KTH Stockholm sowie Urban Design an der HCU Hamburg. Während ihres Studiums sammelte sie praktische Erfahrung in verschiedenen Architekturbüros im In- und Ausland und realisierte kleinere Umbauprojekte in der Steiermark. Nach Abschluss ihres Studiums arbeitete sie als Projektleiterin in Architekturbüros in Graz und Zürich.
2016 wurde das Wohnhaus T fertig gestellt, eines der ersten Gebäude aus Dämmbeton in Österreich, das mit dem Anerkennungspreis beim „Architekturpreis Steiermark“ sowie mit dem 1. Preis beim Wettbewerb „Das beste Haus 2018“ ausgezeichnet wurde. Ein Schwerpunkt ihrer Arbeit liegt im Bauen im Bestand und der damit einhergehenden intensiven Auseinandersetzung mit dem Ort, Kontext sowie Atmosphäre und Materialität.
Als externe Lehrbeauftragte war sie an der TU Graz sowie der TU Wien am Institut für Gebäudelehre tätig. Seit 2020 ist sie staatlich befugte und beeidete Ziviltechnikerin.

Ulrike Tinnacher is an architect based in Graz and Vienna. She studied architecture at TU Graz and KTH Stockholm as well as urban design at HCU Hamburg. During her studies she gained practical experience in various architectural offices in Austria and abroad and realized smaller reconstruction projects in Styria. After completing her studies, she worked as a project manager in architectural offices in Graz and Zurich.
In 2016, the residential building T was completed, one of the first buildings made of insulating concrete in Austria, which was awarded the recognition prize at the "Architecture Award Styria" and the 1st prize at the competition "The Best House 2018". One focus of her work is on building in existing contexts and the accompanying intensive examination of the site, context as well as atmosphere and materiality.
As an external lecturer, she worked at the Graz University of Technology as well as the Vienna University of Technology at the Institute for Building Theory. Since 2020 she is a state authorized and sworn civil engineer.
