Breda Bizjak (1976) graduated from the faculty of Architecture in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2002. From 2001 to 2003 she collaborated with the office Sadar Vuga arhitekti. In 2007 she founded the architectural office BB ARHITEKTI as open international architectural network covering the fields of architecture, urbanism, landscape and industrial design.

She is an active member of The Association of Architects of Istria / Societa' architetti dell'Istria (Dai-Sai), Croatia (from 2003), where she acted as a president (2020-2024) and two time as a member of the presidency. She is also a member of the Association of Architects of Ljubljana, Slovenia (from 2008), registered as professional architect in The Chamber of Architecture and Spatial Planning of Slovenia (ZAPS) from 2009 and a member of The Croatian Chamber of Architects from 2024. She’s actively involved in international cooperation, especially in the Slovenian and Croatian architectural environment. Her projects have been included at various international architectural exhibitions and publications.

Awards: European Prize for Urban Public Space 2012, the finalist of The Piranesi award 2014, finalist of The Mies van der Rohe 2015 award, finalist of The Baumit Life Challenge 2016 award, 3rd Prize for Arhikult 2020 award in the category Public space and 2nd Prize in The Balkan Biennale Award 2024.
