Heidi Pretterhofer is a Viennese architect and the director of Pretterhofer Arquitectos (www.prearq.at). Her work engages at the interface of architecture, urbanism, theory and cultural production. Parallel to her architectural practice, she is curator, editor and author of numerous exhibitions and publications which explore the relationship between urban conditions and architectural action. She is constantly looking for different forms of representation to solve spatial tasks. She has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, and at the Technical University in Graz and Vienna. Since 2005 she has been a member of the Austrian Chamber of Architects, and since 2018, a member of the advisory board of IBA27 Stadt Region Stuttgart and since 2019, a member of the advisory committee for Public Art in Lower Austria.
