Anne-Françoise Jumeau, born in 1962, lives and works in Paris 11th.
She obtained her architectural diploma DPLG in 1987 at the Ecole Paris – Villemin.
While working at Jean-Pierre Buffi, architects where she mainly participated in the construction from A to Z of the Hills at La Défense, she created her office with L. Paillard, partner in 1989
They have the Young Architecture Albums in 1992 and are mentioned EUROPAN 3 in 1994
She created the Périphériques Architectes collective with L. Paillard, D. Trottin, E. Marin, D. Jakob and B. MacFarlane, architects, with whom the idea was to question and publicize architecture through the publication of works , exhibitions, conferences… this will quickly also become a driving force in designing architecture differently.
She obtained the certificate of landscape studies from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage de Versailles in 1996.
From 2002, Anne-Françoise Jumeau Architectes office is managed in its own name.
In 2006, the Atrium project was awarded the Special Mention Award to the Equerre d’Argent.
She is an expert from 2007 to 2014 for the creation of the Joint Master of Architecture of the schools of Burgdorf, Lausanne and Friborg in Switzerland.
She is a founding member of the French Touch Association.
From 2009, she taught for 3 years at the School of Architecture of Versailles.
Anne-Françoise Jumeau was made Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters in 2011.
She was a consultant architect for the MIQCP from 2012 to 2016.
She has been teaching since 2012, in the summer, at the American School of Arts in Fontainebleau.
In 2013 she created and directed a contemporary art presentation space, the progress gallery.
In 2015, after 20 years of sharing the exercise, AF Jumeau Architects and Marin+Trottin Architects put an end to their collaboration Péripherques Architects.
In 2021, she received the 2021 French Women Architect Award

The office continues to develop all types of programs but particularly Equipped Tertiary and Higher Education, Collective Housing and Cultural Facilities.
Between 2013 – 2019 Nine buildings were delivered and awarded with several distinctions / awards. For example :
Geste d'Argent 2017 Bachelard Award for the Four Elements / Geste d'Argent 2019 Great Award of Architecture, Urbanism and Society / Duo@Work 2017 and 2018 / 1st Award Housing AIT AWARD 2018.

In 2022 and 2024, five new buildings will be delivered.
72 STUDENT LODGINGS in MONTPELLIER, a renovation and extension of UFR-LLSH, for the UNIVERSITY OF ANGERS,
71 HOUSING in RENNES Zac de Baud, on the one hand and 92 HOUSING, E+C- certification, in RENNES Sector Guînes and 120 HOUSING ZAC Fulton Paris 13th for ICF la Sablière in 2022.

His work has been presented twice at the Architecture Gallery, in 2006 then in 2012, at the Archilab International Architecture Meetings from 1999, then at the Venice Architecture Biennal in 2002 at the French Pavilion, then as co- curator with French Touch and Francis Rambert in 2008.
She has presented her work at numerous conferences in France, Europe and around the world : for example, in Dublin, Buenos Aires, Stuttgart, Tokyo, Louvain, Chicago, and Cité de l'Architecture at Paris.
She regularly participates in architectural juries in France or abroad.
