The location of the property on Mondseestraße was ideal as a location for the new
Pharmacy, but from the cut and the location on the creek difficult to cultivate. Thus,
only part of the property is built up due to a possible flood, and
a retention tank had to be built.
Situated on a narrow strip of land, the two-storey building with
Flat roof relatively centrally located on the building site parallel to the Mondseestraße. The access is provided
over a side street. In addition to the Lindenapotheke, the building houses a
Medical office and an insurance office.
The building consists of two obliquely stacked volumes which with
bronze-colored aluminum plates were cladded. On the ground floor in the western part is the
Pharmacy located with a floor-to-ceiling glass facade. In the eastern part of the ground floor
there is the practice which by the general staircase with the pharmacy
is connected which allows extremely short distances for the customers.
Since the staircase was pierced through the building it was succeeded by a
two-sided exposure to bring as much light as possible into the staircase.
Due to the displacement of the structures, it has been possible to achieve both a maximum
Ground floor area for the pharmacy as well as for the practice to reach. This results in
protected areas on the ground floor and large terraces on the upper floor
which are located in front of the offices and are oriented towards the green side of the creek.
The structure thus orients itself not only towards the road but also towards the back towards the creek.
On the upper floor are the adjoining rooms of the pharmacy such as
night duty rooms, medicine stores, meeting rooms and offices, on the other hand it is
managed to build extra office rooms which were allocated to a lease.
