House LK3 is designed and built trough 2023-2025. It is located on the slopes of Fruška Gora mountain, with a lot of greenery, slow traffic and a wide view of Novi Sad and the Danube. The plot on which the house LK3 was built has a height difference of 4.5 m diagonally, accessible from the south side with an enviable 180-degree view. These found characteristics directed the concept of the house in order to achieve the symbiosis of the house and the place.
Shaping the space for everyday life of an individual or a family requires not only following the standards and norms of the profession, but it implies adaptation to the peculiarities and wishes of future users in order to create a home and not just a house. LK3 is organized around the comfort of the family that lives in it, shaped around their routines, needs and processes with the aim of providing refuge from the city hustle, without complete isolation but with measure. It is zoned so that it can simultaneously support different routines, and it is functionally bound so that movement flows through it. A house of this size always aspires to disrupt the existing urban structure formed by tipical family houses, and when it is elevated in relation to the surrounding terrain the volume of the house of almost 1000m2 inevitably sets itself as a benchmark. In order to avoid an aggressive imposition to the immediate surroundings, the base and form of the LK3 house are broken up by pulling in/out of parts of the building. The building follows the natural terrain so the house took on a terraced form. The diagonal that follows the slope of the terrain and the orientation of the plot towards the main view is dominant, and continues through the house. Incorporated in the design of LK3 house are passive and active green solutions, using of RES, adequate materials and building solutions to ensure low CO2 emissions.
