Riham El Moazen (1995), is an Austrian architect with Egyptian roots. Her work addresses the condition of our world today by exploring the transformation of the existing. Through intelligent and precise interventions, she reinterprets the existing and creates a new world within it.
Her professional journey includes a period at the office of Valerio Olgiati in Switzerland, where she worked on numerous international projects. She later joined OFFICE Kersten Geers David Van Severen in Brussels, contributing to large-scale projects such as the RTS Radio & Television Building in Lausanne and the Aerospacelab Satellite Factory in Charleroi.
Alongside her practice today, Riham El Moazen teaches at the Technical University of Dortmund, where she focuses on the potential of massive, load-bearing natural stone constructions in contemporary architecture. Her teaching and research draw inspiration from ancient building sites, investigating how historical knowledge can inform today's architectural landscape.
