Studied architecture and sociology. Held her M.Arch degree with the subject “The Effects of Fashion Tendencies in Architecture”. Held a PhD (Arch.) with the subject “Spatial Expressions of Freedom in Human-Environment Interactions”. Conducted post-doctoral research on post-industrial settlements at IST-ULisbon. Positioning her study subjects surrounding eco-feminism, eco-imperialism and architecture, dystopian urban futures. Architecture Faculty member (Assoc.Prof.Dr.) chairing the Environmental Control and Analysis Subdivision at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Architecture in Istanbul, vise chair of The Women Research Centre of the same university. A member of the executive board and Environmental Impact Assessment Advisory Board of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey between 2012-2018. Jury Member: Istanbul International Architecture and Urban Films Festival (2020) and BIFED-Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary (2022), Several national architecture and planning competitions.
